Nha Trang University, one of 12 institutions supported by the SAFEGRO project, is implementing a set of training materials comprising 10 short courses and 7 E-learning courses aligned with international food safety standards.
The program is designed to improve training quality, develop a highly skilled workforce, and strengthen food safety management capacity across the supply chain.
“This is a very valuable set of materials and highly relevant to practice,” said Prof. Dr. Phạm Quốc Hùng, Vice Rector of the university, noting that the curriculum has been developed in a structured and methodical way, with clear objectives and learning outcomes. He added that it incorporates “a large body of new, modern knowledge,” suited to both Vietnam and the broader global context of food safety.
The university has already integrated all 10 short courses into its teaching programs and has delivered 3 of the 7 E-learning courses. The remaining courses are expected to be introduced in the coming period, as the university continues to expand its training offerings across undergraduate, postgraduate, formal and non-formal education, as well as specialized short-term courses for the community.
