DOCUMENT DESCRIPTION

The Rapid Diagnostic Assessment of the Food Systems and Food Safety Hazards Associated with Fruit and Vegetables, Animal Meat, and Aquatic Products Marketed and Consumed in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City is a joint product of Rikolto, Vietnam National University of Agriculture (VNUA), The International Center for Tropical Agriculture (CIAT), and The Asia Foundation (TAF).

The report was prepared by Hoang My Lan (Co-Team Leader, Rikolto), Nguyen Tran Lam (Co-Team Leader, Rikolto), and Le Quang Trung (Team Member, TAF). Cao Thang Binh (Senior Programme Officer, The World Bank) provided valuable advice to the team.

The report represents an overall assessment based on the two annexes detailing risk assessment analyses of the three value chains in Hanoi and HCMC, which were led by VNUA (fish and pork) and CIAT (vegetables)
