Integrating food safety into a sustainable food system is crucial. It ensures that the production, distribution, and consumption of food are environmentally friendly, socially responsible, and economically viable.

Today, the SAFEGRO project, funded by Canada, is very honored to support Viet Nam to organize the conference on Implementation of the National Action Plan on Food Systems Transformation towards Transparency, Responsibility and Sustainability in Vietnam.

 

 

Speaking at the conference, HE. Le Minh Hoan, Minister of MARD, shared key content that Vietnam wishes to cooperate with international partners to transform the food system in a green and sustainable way:

    • Ecological agriculture and rural development
    • Agricultural infrastructure and gender equality
    • Innovation and digital technology
    • Nutritional balance and healthy eating
    • Green and sustainable consumption

 

SAFEGRO will contribute to this plan within its scope of work, aiming for the optimal and lasting health of the Vietnamese people.
